The best thing that will help your run feel easier and smoother is proper nutrition. Another thing that could be influencing your overall running experience is you vitamin and mineral levels. Things to be on the lookout for is iron, calcium, and vitamin-d. Each of these play a role in how tired you feel as well as how fast you recover. Females are more prone to iron deficiency...especially ferrous sulfate levels. Taking a daily multivitamin that contains extra iron will accomadate a large majority of the vitamins and minerals your body needs. Why should you care about getting your vitamins and minerals? Iron helps the body to make healthy red blood cells, which carry oxygen around the body. Vitamin-c works toegther with iron to support your blood vessels and overall health. Vitamin-d and calcium work together to maintain and strengthen bone structure.
